Over the past few weeks, I have had the opportunity to deliver presentations at the Oregon AGC Leadership Conference and co-presented at the Oregon Suicide Prevention Conference. I want to share some highlights!
At the AGC Leadership Conference in Vancouver, WA, I presented an interactive presentation incorporating data, narratives, and resources to help future construction leaders reduce substance abuse, prevent suicides, and build hope in their communities. The AGC CLC Leadership Development Conference (LDC) is the premier annual event that brings together like-minded leaders from across the nation’s construction industry for professional development and networking. This year’s conference hosted over 200 attendees from across the country. I felt fortunate to have the opportunity to share our resources with a national audience. Many attendees also signed up for our November virtual QPR. We still have space for you to do the same!
Last Week, Rebecca Garza, Health Promotion Strategist with Oregon Health Authority, and I presented about ReThink the Drink at the Oregon Suicide Prevention Conference in Hood River, O. It was exciting to share information about our unique partnership with a new audience and demonstrate how ReThink the Drink has bolstered our outreach. It was a fun and interactive presentation that will hopefully build connections between ReThink the Drink and other suicide prevention organizations.
